The main mission of a Southridge education is to form the whole human being – developing his intelligence (academic formation) towards his ultimate goal (that they live according to the Christian ideal). The education given by the school does not aim at just equipping the students with some scientific knowledge and some intellectual skills. The school wants its students to be persons who are truly human, who live according to their dignity as persons. In this regard, the education of Southridge can be called humanistic, with a humanism that is Christian in outlook. The education of Southridge addresses the intellectual, spiritual, socio-cultural, emotional, professional and physiological dimensions of the person. It also does these with emphasis on the importance of home-school collaboration .
